Community Issues and Suggestions on How to Solve Them

There are many issues in the community that i complained about, the NUISANCE during unholy hours, created by the youngsters playing overnight at the net shops.Playing LOUD MUSIC disturbing the whole neighborhood.IDLING of motorcycles while the neighbor is still resting from a days work or from a graveyard shift. DOG FECES on the street.

Every time i take a walk along the neighborhood and to my dismay, its disgusting to see dog feces around. I want to share my terrible experience when i went down to Manila riding in an air conditioned bus. I am already inside the bus enjoying the comfort and started my daydreaming when i smelled something that smelled like a hell. Later on I found out that the “curse” is under the sole of my shoes. My seatmate and the other passengers started looking at each other trying to find the carrier, look simple and react simply or else you will be persecuted if you look guilty. That is what i did. I prayed for the nearest bus stop over so I could wash my shoes.

Dogs are the man’s best friend as they say, they guard our house night and day. They also help us to augment our source of income,i mean selling their puppies not the dog meat. 🙂 But why is it that those dog owners doesn’t have the sense that the feces of their dogs destroys the beauty of the surroundings in the community.

One early morning, i went out to jog at the Burnham park, this lady brought her dog with her. She let her dog do that call of nature along the jogging area and that destroys my momentum and the other joggers. This dog owner doesn’t have the initiative to realize that she is responsible for the mess of her pet.

SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO SOLVE THEM

A) There is a barangay ordinance regarding on these matters, I wonder why it is not strictly implemented.

I then suggest that the dog owners must:

  1. Know the body language of their pets whenever there is a call of nature.
  2. When you go out with your dog bring a dust pan and a broom.
  3. Bring a bottle filled with water mixed with chlorox and spray it on the spot where your dog had their mess.
  4. Have your dog trained that hey must know how to use your c.r.I heard a lot saying that their pets do their thing in their bathroom.
  5. Have them paper trained, instead of “street trained and leave“.
  6. Lastly, also dog owners must be trained with common sense and cleanliness.
